The Heart Lung Centre is conducting a clinical study to evaluate a new medication which has been developed to treat COPD – Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and are registering people now.
During the study you will receive both the study drug – CHF 6001– and a dummy treatment which contains no active ingredients – Placebo.
Whilst enrolled the study you would continue to use the medication that you routinely take for COPD.
We are looking for:
Moderate to severe sufferers of COPD with current use of steroid inhaler(s).
Individuals who currently smoke or have quit smoking.
Aged 40 and over
You will be required to attend the clinic approximately 15 times over a 7 month period.
You will be reimbursed up to £2000 for your time, travel and inconvenience.
Even if you don’t match the above criteria, we always have new trials on the horizon.
