Current Studies

(1)     Asthma

A clinical study to evaluate how well a new type of inhaler dispenses medications for the relief of the symptoms of Asthma.

During the study you will receive a commonly prescribed Asthma medication and a dummy treatment which contains no active ingredients – Placebo

Whilst enrolled the study you would continue to use the medication that you routinely take for Asthma.

We are looking for:

  • Mild to Moderate sufferers of Asthma with current use of steroid inhalers.
  • Who do not smoke or have quit smoking.
  • Aged 18 to 60.

You will be required to attend the clinic approximately 4 times and depending on your availability you could be involved for between 3 to 12 weeks.

You will be reimbursed up to £850 for your time, travel and inconvenience.

 

(2)     IC / BPS – Interstitial Cystitis / Bladder Pain Syndrome – Relief

A clinical study to evaluate a new medication which has been developed to reduce the bladder pain of ICS/BPS and relieve other symptoms such as urinary frequency.

We are looking for:

  • Volunteers who have been diagnosed with IC/BPS for at least 3 months
  • Experience consistent bladder pain and frequent, urgent trips to the bathroom
  • Aged between 18 and 80

You will be required to attend the clinic 5 to 6 times over a 3 month period.                    

You would also have the option to extend to a maximum of 11 visits over 12 months, should you wish.

 

Even if you don’t match the above criteria, we always have new trials on the horizon.
